I was in South Carolina recently in Charleston. I went to the shop on the street near the old slave market. It was a great surprise. I bought 4 bags for $25 of 8oz. Scotch Oatmeal cookies and I eat them with my tea and they are amazing. The pair nicely with a nice Black tea or Chinese Oolong. Ooooooh I'm just in heaven over the South's little sweet secret. I will be ordering these. You must move your operations up to Maryland so that I can purchase at and not have to wait for it in the mail. Love these cookies!!!

I just recently made a visit to Savannah for my birthday and visited the city market and strolled inside of Byrd's Cookies and sampled cookies and settled with buying the scotch oatmeal cookies they are so delicious now that I found that there is a website where I can order. I was given a Byrd's gift basket by my cousin. We haven't lived in Savannah for awhile so needless to say when my husband and I saw it we were delighted! OMG!!! Talk about flashbacks to when I was in elementary school and selling Byrd's Cookies for a fundraiser. The Scotch Oatmeal and the Lemon Coolers are still my favorites! We let our girls try them and now we need more. I will be ordering today.

The scotch oatmeal cookie is amazing. I am not sure why but this cookie reminds me an old fashioned ginger snap but is an oatmeal cookie. The flavor is amazing and definitely reminds me of my childhood cookies. I am so glad I tasted these in Pigeon Forge. They are my new favorite cookie
