Savannah Postcard Tin - Key Lime & Georgia Peach

Our large Savannah Postcard tin is filled with one 8 oz, hand-packed, bakery bag of Key Lime Coolers & one 8 oz , hand-packed, bakery bag of Georgia Peach. These two treats are classic southern and a tradition in the low country.

The earliest decorated cookie tin was commissioned in 1868 in London. Popularity of the tin took off in the early 20th century and allowed for the treats to be transported, without damage, from vacations and exotic travels. Byrd began their tradition of sharing their cookies in tins, thus becoming a signature sign of southern hospitality in the early 1950's. We are delighted to pass this tradition on to you & and hope that you bake something sweet in your kitchen to pass along the hospitality.
